The TradeMark Factory operates as a branch of brandU Legal, an Australian law firm specialising in trademarks and intellectual property, situated in Sydney.
Established in 2009 and led by Natalie Murray-Jones, our team of lawyers and trademark attorneys have been practicing trademark law since the mid-'90s. We have successfully registered trademarks for some of the world's leading corporations, such as Apple and Gucci, as well as prominent Australian enterprises like Pharmacare, Gloria Jean's Coffees, Donut King, Mad Mex, and Uniden Australia.
Over the course of nearly three decades, we've had the privilege of collaborating with large corporations but more recently we've recognised a growing disparity between the needs of big businesses and small enterprises concerning the affordability of brand protection.

Natalie boasts over two decades of experience in the fields of intellectual property law. Her area of expertise lies in Australian and international brand protection and trademark practice and procedure. Throughout her career, she has acted for clients many different industries, safeguarding their brands across all sectors, including collaborations with some of Australia's most renowned and innovative companies.
Almost 15 years ago, Natalie established brandU Legal, following more than 15 years of managing trademark portfolios at some of Australia's largest law firms. She is renowned for her concise, business-focused advice concerning all aspects of branding and trademarks.
Natalie also aids clients in crafting and executing comprehensive trademark strategies in both Australia and global markets, leveraging her extensive network of international associate lawyers.
In 2014, she further bolstered her ability to assist clients dealing with overseas jurisdictions by obtaining the position of notary public in NSW.
